I have started to develop one of my ideas for 'how to use a lipstick' on illustrator.

Rockwell Kent

I have been looking at Rockwell Kent, and found his way of framing/cropping his work, very interesting. The dramatic ways in which he crops his images makes the image much more dramatic, depending on the way he's cropped it.

This image screams drama, as the view point is low, but the way the figure fills the whole frame, makes all attention be focussed directly on him.

This vertical crop of 'Wayside Maddona' has her fit perfectly in the frame, drawing your attention straight to her.
